Images, GIFs, clips, characters, and source works may belong to their respective creators and rights holders. Their inclusion is for identification, commentary, criticism, research, provenance, and historical context. Memelith does not claim ownership merely by cataloguing a work.
Requesting removal
Send a written notice to hello@zilladelphia.com identifying the copyrighted work, the exact Memelith URL and material at issue, your contact information, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
We review notices promptly, may ask clarifying questions, preserve the editorial audit trail, and may remove or restrict material where appropriate. Affected contributors may receive the notice and an opportunity to respond where legally appropriate.
Attribution corrections
If the issue is missing or incorrect credit rather than removal, use the Corrections page. Creator attribution is a first-class research field and can be updated without creating a duplicate meme family.
